This medium roast is a decadent, cognac infused blend that is perfect for the sophisticated palate. Its name pays homage to Eugene Bullard, the first black combat pilot and owner of Le Grand Duc, a famous Paris nightclub. At this popular jazz club, Bullard introduced cognac to his talented patrons and friends: Louis Armstrong, Josephine Baker, Langston Hughes, and more.

With his entrepreneurial spirit and appreciation for the finer things, we can thank Bullard for inspiring the love of the flavors you’ll enjoy in this blend. Its rich flavor and oak aroma primes your senses for the task ahead, making for the perfect slow-sipping brew.

The aroma. The first sip. I savored the semi-sweetness as it drizzled down my throat. Exquisite.

Perfect for winter

Tried this flavor for the first time. Very rich yet smooth. Figured out the perfect proportions for morning brew. I think this one is now my favorite! Tried other flavors that were good. But something about this one has “that thing” that does the trick. In fact ordering more as I wrote this review.

Terrific Coffee

Wonderful tasting coffee! I received the sampler for Christmas and did not expect the sensational flavors! I love that our history is a part of each and every cup! I will order for myself and others!
